Massage & Bodywork

Massages with Curran are outstanding!! She works on your pressure points and meridians while at the same time, gently coerces your muscles to relax. Her bodywork has helped not only my muscular issues, but also my overall health! Amazing! Highly recommend.”

More Than Just A Massage.

Massage therapy is typically one hour, but can be longer or shorter depending on the need of the client. Our therapeutic massage may include a mixture of rocking, thumb or palm pressure, stretching in order to mobilize, myofascial release, or/and lymphatic drainage. Some people call what we do acupressure, but it is so much more. We are unique from the western style massages, where we treat more than just the muscles of the body.  That being said, we work well with western medicine and surrounding doctors and our therapists are trained in both.

All our massages and bodywork stem from the Oriental Medical Theory that all illnesses of the mind and body, with their respective symptoms, are related to an underlying imbalance in an individual’s energy system. Our styles include Shiatsu Massage, Thai Massage, and Tui-Na Massage that relieve stress on the energetic, emotional and physical systems. These treat multiple layers of the body, down to the organ level, allowing the body to fully heal and feel the effects long after your session. Massages allow for structural corrections of the body as well. No oils or lotions are used as you are fully clothed.

Just came from my acupuncture and cupping therapy session with Kearney. I feel balanced, at ease in the world; a true sense of relaxation and well-being. If you are considering these alternative therapies take the leap! I did and have found it immeasurably helpful.”

Stick With Us.

Acupuncture therapy is an all-natural approach that uses tiny needles, thin as a human’s hair, to awaken the body’s healing systems and helps a person’s overall well-being: physically, mentally, and emotionally. This form of medicine has been used for over 2,000 years. An acupuncture treatment lasts 1 hour and consists of a health assessment with a tongue and pulse diagnosis, then the needles will be gently inserted right under the skin at specific points on your body. The needles remain in for 30-40 minutes at which point you are left to quiet your mind and relax. Many people fall asleep and leave with a heightened sense of awareness and well-being. Depending on what you are coming in for, cupping therapy and guasha may be used in addition to the acupuncture. Acupuncture works well in conjunction with massage and western medicine, helping the body to recover faster and keep symptoms at bay or from returning.
